Telephone enquires are welcome, but because of time zone differences, we recommend sending an email initially, and we will follow up by email or telephone, as you wish. Please use the booking form to provide the necessary information. 2.Reserve a date. An oral reservation will be held for 7 days, until we receive the deposit and other completed paperwork. 3.We will send you a confirmation invoice, booking conditions and guest list form. Please complete and sign the paperwork and send it, together with the deposit, to the address indicated. A 30% deposit of the rental price is required to secure your reservation beyond 7 days. 4.The balance of the payment, the refundable security/cleaning deposit (see below) and the completed paperwork are due 10 weeks before your rental date, or if your reservation is within 10 weeks, upon booking. Your booking is complete when all paperwork and payments have been received and accepted. 5.10-12 weeks before your rental, we will send driving directions, local information and a receipt for your final payment. Click here to print your booking form. Dates and Prices: Weekly rentals of the entire Villa are given precedence, but shorter stays are also welcome. Pending availability, the Villa can be rented for periods shorter than one week at a “per night, per room” charge (three-night minimum) and for groups smaller than the entire Villa, with prices pro-rated according to group size. In addition, please see “Special Offers” for currently available short breaks. 2007 Weekly Prices (in euros): January 1 – April 14: 2800 April 14 – May 12: 3450 May 12 – May 26: 4500 May 26 – August 4: 5750 August 4 – September 29: 5150 September 29 – October 13: 4500 October 13 – 27: 3450 October 27 – December 31: 2800 The weekly rental price is based on a 7-day rental of the entire Villa (8 bedrooms) and includes: One week occupancy from Saturday afternoon to the following Saturday morning Utilities (hot water, cooking gas and electricity). Telephone calls, faxes and heating (if any) will be charged separately. Daily cleaning, Monday to Friday All linens and towels, including pool towels (changed weekly) Welcome breakfast basket (for your first morning) of fresh pastries, bread, fruit, tea, coffee, milk, juice and homemade preserves Selection of produce from the Villa’s herb and kitchen gardens, orchard and vineyard Use of the Villa’s discounts at local restaurants, shops and services Full-time manager/reference person to help with any problems with the house, sightseeing queries, organizing tours or events, or translating Use of the Villa’s mobile phone Upon request, arrangement of private wine tasting at a local winery (no cost) and liaison with an excellent local cook (cook payable locally) Payment: Prices quoted above are in Euro for one week. Payment should be in euros, but may be made in US dollars or British pounds sterling at current exchange rates, but we regret we must charge a foreign exchange and wire transfer fee for this service. A refundable cleaning/security deposit of Euro 1,000.00 is payable with the final balance. Rental Periods: The standard rental is one week for the entire Villa. We recommend, however, a more leisurely two-week rental, and many of our guests seem to agree (see the “Guestbook”). We will apply a discount to rentals longer than one week and to repeat guests. Insurance: Please ensure that you arrange adequate travel insurance to cover you during your vacation, including in the unlikely event of a cancellation. Bookings are made on the assumption that each guest will have arranged such insurance. Cancellation Policy: Should you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, the following cancellation charges will apply. Charges are calculated by reference to the time before the rental date at which notice in writing is actually received. In each case, we will endeavor to find another suitable tenant for the cancelled period and will reduce the cancellation charges accordingly. More than 10 weeks in advance: Deposit only 8-10 weeks: 45% of total rental price 6-8 weeks: 75% of total rental price Less than six weeks: 100% of total rental price Descriptions: All descriptions on the web site or in any written or oral communication from us are given in good faith in the belief that they are accurate. Should any significant details change before your rental date, we will do our best to inform you. We cannot be responsible for any loss, delay or cost incurred arising from circumstances outside our control, including, but not limited to, weather, traffic or the political or economic environment.
